Cafe Zupas Review: What Do Customers Have To Say?

The thing about visiting any restaurant is all about finding out whether people like the place or not – in that case, scroll down and check out the top positive and negative reviews on Cafe Zupas, as left by customers.

Positive Reviews:

Here are a few positive reviews of the cafe!

“We flew into Salt Lake City on our way to Yellowstone. We ate lunch at this restaurant. There were four of us, and we had four different kinds of bowls and three kinds of soup. The food was all very good except for the chicken noodle soup. It was barely warm and had no seasoning or flavor. The service was excellent and quick. The chocolate-covered strawberries were delicious.

“Cafe Zupas is a very good place to eat. The food is very fresh and delicious. I enjoy the Cuban sandwich, and my wife gets the soup. A very efficient restaurant that gets your food quickly at very competitive prices. We eat here regularly while visiting Park City at the Kimball junction area.”

“My friend and I were meeting for lunch today. I arrived first and studied the menu. She followed into the Cafe shortly thereafter. We ordered Thai chicken salad and a power bowl with brisket. The food is made right in front of you.

They add their roll and signature chocolate covered strawberry to your order. Both meals looked great and were very tasty. The chicken was a little sparse but the salad was still yummy. It has tomatoes, cucumbers, diced chicken, sweet peppers, chopped peanuts and greens.

It comes with a light and a peanut dressing. The brisket power bowl had a healthy amount of quinoa, brisket, avocado, yams and greens. A filling meals. Shared outdoor parking and Wi-Fi.”

Negative Reviews:

Here are a few negative reviews of the cafe!

“I am from out of state and wanted a soup and salad meal for lunch. After a quick search, I was excited to go to cafe zupas. I ordered their clam chowder for my soup. Honestly, you get better clam chowder from campbells chunky. Clam chowder is supposed to be made with a rue and have a thick broth. Their broth was just water mixed with what I would guess is 2% milk to give the broth a color that resembles what a true rue based soup should have. Horrible, if this is representative of how they cut corners in their recipes for their other soups I will never waste my time and money on their food again.”

“The servers seemed unwilling to serve my husband and myself. I ordered a fruit salad. When the server put two blueberries on the salad, I asked for more berries which she seemed reluctant to do. At checkout, the cashier rang up the wrong amount. He argued with me over the bill, so I had to go back to the person who took my order to get the amount corrected. When I got home, I found that I had been charged for both receipts.”
